Regina chain joining link types:

Type 19 – Standard Solid Rivet Link • Installation: Requires a special rivet tool to flare the pin heads. • Strength: Matches the strength of the rest of the chain. • Use Case: Ideal for road motorcycles and racing applications where a permanent, secure connection is essential

Type 26 – Slip Fit Clip Link • Installation: Very easy; no tools required. • Design: Clip-style link with a slip-fit plate. • Use Case: Suitable for mopeds, cross, enduro, and supermotard bikes. ⚠️ Not recommended for road bikes over 250cc or off-road bikes over 450cc

Type 42 – Press Fit Master Link • Installation: Requires pliers or a hammer to press-fit the external plate. • Design: Clip-style link with a tighter fit than Type 26. • Use Case: Designed for off-road use (cross, enduro, supermotard). ⚠️ Not suitable for motorcycles over 500cc _ Type 44 – Hollow Point Rivet Link • Installation: Requires a hollow-point rivet tool; easier to flare than Type 19. • Design: Same strength as Type 19, but with hollow pins for simpler installation. • Use Case: High-performance motorcycles and racing setups where secure installation and ease of use are both important
