Compatibility & Fitment

Carbon Tech reeds are available in common OEM sizes. Always check part number and dimensions against your bike before purchasing. Typical fitments include small?capacity 2?strokes through to 300cc machines. If your model requires a specific reed cage shape or offset, confirm compatibility.

Installation Notes

1. Inspect reed seat and mating surfaces; clean thoroughly.
2. Replace or inspect reeds boots/gaskets and mating hardware.
3. Install reeds with even, light torque. Do not overtighten.
4. Run a short break?in: gentle throttle use for first 15–20 minutes.
5. Recheck torque and seating after initial run.

Performance Tips

For improved throttle response and midrange, choose thinner reeds (e.g. 0.35mm). For increased top?end stability and durability under heavy use, select thicker petals (0.45mm). Tuning carburetion or fuel injection mapping may be required after reed changes.
